CURRENT MISSION
Explore, experience, live.
ABOUT ME
Travel writer and lover of all things nomadic. I've been on the move on and off for 3 years now, having made my way all round Europe and to India, Morocco, Canada and the States. One of the greatest things about all my experiences has been meeting so many amazing people along the way, through couchsurfing or otherwise.
I like reading, writing, watching movies, yoga, and most of all having good conversation over a few beers. I love to learn new things and like people that can challenge me and the way I think. I'm open-minded and interested to hear all points of view.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is to make the most of how lucky I am to be able to travel and experience new and exciting things. So far it's been pretty good and I imagine it's only going to get better!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've only been hosted and not the actual host, mainly due to my lack of a home. Hopefully in the future when I've settled more I can take part in that side of it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've Couchsurfed in Canada and the States, and loved all of the great hosts I've met. Looking forward to expanding this section in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite authors include: Gabrial Garcia Marquez, Jane Austen, Margaret Atwood, Nancy Mitford. Currently trying to read the '1001 books you must read before you die' list so I come across so much that I never would have read.
Movies include: Once, La Vie En Rose, anything directed by Wes Anderson, The Red Shoes, Some Like It Hot, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Harold and Maude, Little Miss Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire, Delicatessen, Into The Wild, Amadeus, Amelie.
Music is a bit more difficult but I'm mostly into folky chilled out singer/songwriter stuff but I'm willing to give almost anything a listen.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to count. From the Secastilla festivals in Spain, the 6am freshness of a dairy farm in Canada in winter, a 5-year-old Spanish kid speak the English words I've taught them, the finish line of the Birmingham half marathon, the fog over the hills in India... and probably thousands more. And thousands more to come!
Teach, Learn, Share
If anyone is interested in learning how to knit, that I can do! I also love cooking, I think it's a great way to bring people together.
