About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to paint and draw new faces and places

ABOUT ME

happy, optimist, opportunist! Love learning, meeting new people, adventure. I'm from New Zealand, but living in London and currently training in painting and drawing at a traditional artists studio. I like walking in fresh air and mountains. I like the beach and swimming in the sea and lakes. One of my favourite things is cooking a good meal with friends, then all sitting down to enjoy it together leisurely with good conversation. The simple pleasures are the best.

PHILOSOPHY

Feel the fear and do it anyway! Remember that nothing is permanent, everything is meant to pass, so enjoy it while its here and when its gone learn from it. Do what you love, love what you do. Life is more simple than we make it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love couchsurfing philosophy, can't wait to meet more people this way. After a good couchsurfing experience you won't want to travel any other way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only ever surfed so far, but can't wait to host when I get a chance in the future with a place that has space. My best couchsurfing experience was in Brazil, 2 years on and we are still friends.

Interests

people watching, cooking with friends, exploring new places by foot and bicycle, swimming in the sea, reading, growing food, being active, going to museums, painting, philosophy, science, ideas and conversation.
