ABOUT ME

Well I'm hoping to learn a bit more about me during my travels but this is me so far...

I'm a musician and general creative type. I'm a jazz/funk sax player and a rock drummer. I enjoy painting (especially when travelling) and have recently started to enjoy photography.

My friends would describe me as happy, confident, a bit strange (?!?), fun-loving, and considerate.

I'm trying to figure out what I want to earn a living doing. I'm extremely organised and love live music so I'm thinking I'll try my hand at Event Management for a while...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people from all cultures. I want to couch surf on my travels and host when I return and have my very own couch (or sofa).

Little experience so far but very excited about gaining more.

Interests

I enjoy reading, films, art, live music, and good food and drink (espcially Cheese!).

I love being active and particularly enjoy hiking, anything involving water, and cycling.

My favourite films I have watched over the past 12 months would be Pan's Labyrinth, Moon, Juno, Amelie,

I have a wide taste in music but on my ipod you would find mostly rock (classic and modern), jazz, funk, and alternative.

I'm currently reading The Lord of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled some of Europe in 2009 with my best friend in a campervan. We had some amazing times.

Music in general. Or more specifically drum kit, saxophone, piano, recorder, djembe.
