ABOUT ME
I'm one of those guys that said "I'll try anything once" then slowly realized how that simple thing can define your life. I've worked more jobs than I can count with my fingers and toes. I'm a quick learner and when I feel I've learned a trade, I move on. I know the service industry like the back of my hand. I live about a 1/3 of my life in my dreams. They are vivid, elaborate, epic, engaging, and entertaining. I love hearing others' dreams. I'm an Officer in the Army, and it's very exciting and probably not like what you think it is.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe our souls are tendrils reaching out of one great Human spiritual body; learning through our experiences in life. I believe that it is the duty of those who CAN to experience life outside of the ordinary to enrich the Human spirit for those that cannot. Our souls are parts of God and the life behind our eyes; listen to them and you can do no wrong.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm an experienced CSer living in Louisville, KY. I don’t host as much as I’d like with a full time job and full time family, but I still try to educate and participate with the community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I once crashed a friends place, called the Toby Road House. I decided to stay and split rent, but the 4 rooms were taken. We opened up the closet under the stairs. It was big enough to fit a twin bed mattress surrounded by a rope light, 3 shelves for minimum storage. It was like Harry Potter. My first place in Atlanta was home to 4 Renaissance Fair types. We had a different surfer there every week. One moved in under OUR stairs. I couchsurfed Europe with Casey Fenton and Duke. Paris, Frieburg, Munich, Linz, Vienna, Prague, Warsaw, Berlin. My wife and I hosted quite a few surfers in Atlanta back in 2008. We've been traveling (my job) since then but finally found a great place to host.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Action/Adventure stuff, Epics, "blow your mind" movies. Fav: Blade Runner, Dune.
Music: Most. No rythm, No Melody, I dont have it in my collection. Favorites: Yello, Lamb, Underworld, Delerium, Funk
Books: I don't read fast so I don't read much. What I do read is non-fiction stuff I can't learn on my own in the real world. Fiction has too much impact on the way I formulate ideas in my mind. I don't like any one person having that kind of control on my mind (besides myself)- Especially someone I don't even know.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sweat Lodge in Montana, Performed at Carolyn's Comedy Club in 2001, Dragon Con (every year since '97),North Georgia woods-outnumbered 3/1 by deer AND transexual drag queens, Street parties in Zurich, Concrete lawn furniture set up at the bottom of the ocean in Jamaica, CSing across EU with Duke and Casey Fenton, Rappelling off 30 story buildings for a living
