Tall dark handsome fun loving medical doctor who is divorced since 2000 , was married to a Brazilian Dermatologist from Rio De Janeiro during our residency but we grew in separate directions but are still friends , we had no time for kids at that time. I live in a small town in southern Virginia but I love my job as director of radiology at the local community hospital and I am only two hours and 20 minutes from Washington DC and one hour and 15 minutes from Virginia Beach Virginia. I did not want to live in the capital city of Richmond Virginia and commute one hour to work soon I live one minute from the hospital where I work so I have no time lost in commuting to work andI get to go home for one hour for lunch and relax in my own home! My brother lives in Northern Virginia and I have a lot of family in the Washington DC area so I like to drive north to Northern Virginia on the weekends to hang out with my friends and family. I also have a 30 foot Carver Montego Cabin Cruiser power boat which is located roughly 3 hours away Herrington Harbor Marina in Chesapeake Beach Marylandwhich you can Google and check it out online. They have the marina has two beaches on the Chesapeake Bay and and Olympic size pool and seafood restaurant a lot of things to do and a lot of people get married every weekend there during the whole summer and springso it's always packed full of people having fun in the summer and spring timeso it's worth the 3 Hour drive on the weekends to get there! And I sleep on my boat for the whole weekend and drive back home early Monday morning to start work at 8 AM to 5am weekdaysand I have every weekend off +6 weeks paid vacation per year so I like to travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the same reason everyone else's to meet new people make new friends and learn the culture and the language and have a much more enjoyable time being with similar people who also want to learn from others and expand their horizon's!
