About Me

I'm a brazilian exchange student currently living in Marseille. I'm friendly, smiling, open-minded, curious and I love to meet new people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a low budget traveler, it's always good to save some money with hostels while having the opportunity to meet new people and actually learning how the locals from that place truly live. It makes the experience a lot more deep and creates friendships that may last for life. I also want to assure that I don't have any second intentions with whoever accepts to host me. Unfortunately it is known that nowadays some people use this app to find girls and this kind of stuff, I'm not one of these guys and I feel bad about the fact that some stupid men make it harder for the nice ones to find couches. Right now I'm in Europe, but probably after returning to Brazil I'll offer some couches in my own home aswell. To be honest I wasn't really sure about the effectiveness of this tool before coming to Europe, so if you're planning to go to Sao Paulo, you can also find someone to host when you get there.

Interests

I have a passion for music (mainly Rock'n'Roll and Jazz) and cinema, even though I know the first one better than the second. I also like to talk about economics (I'm an economics student, duh) and politics, pretty serious guy, huh? Now that's where you are wrong. I also like nightclubs, mainly techno ones, psychedelic festivals, concerts in general, travelling, playing football, tenis and whenever I find time drink a beer with my beloved friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Still working on this topic, but I went to Halstatt, a pretty small village in the countryside of Austria, by my own, hiked the highest hill up there and explored a little bit of the forest nearby. An amazing day in the heart of the Austrian lakes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Brazilian culture in general, especially how is it to live on the other side of the ocean in a 3rd world country. Maybe there's more, but you'll have to figure out asking.
