About Me
CURRENT MISSION: Continue enjoying australian culture and landscapes!!
I spent one year working and travelling in Australia, great experience that gave me many friends and excellent memories. After that I enjoyed the beautiful landscapes and cultures that South East Asia has to offer. I've been in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Now Im coming back to Australia for another year after visiting my family and friends in Buenos Aires. There is still a lot to see in this country!
Before starting this trip, I had the chance to explore my own country as well as many countries in Latin America in different oportunities (Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Cuba), as well as South Africa (two times in team rugby tours) and the United States.
I'm easygoing and respectful, I like meeting new people and having good and chilled talks, as well as doing outdoor activities and having new experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've just joined Couchsurfing following recommendations of traveller friends that have been in this net for a long time. I am curious and in every trip I make one of the things I like the most is talking to local people (or expats) and understanding how they live, think, love and how things work in their country.
I think that joining Couchsurfing could be a step forward in sharing time with people that live in the countries im visiting. I'm excited about having this kind of experience :)
Interests
Among my hobbies, two stand out as the main ones: literature and philosopy, and sports and outdoor activities. I love team sports, having played all my life football (of course, Im from Argentina), but mainly rugby for many years in Buenos Aires, where I made a large group of great friends and had great experiences.
Regarding literature, I tried every time I can to read something from local writers to get an artistic and local view about the countries I visit. Besides that, Im in love with latin american writers, which in a way write about how people from that side of the world feel, love and live.
My more 'serious' interests would be economics and politics. I like being updated in that sense and trying to see the big picture, but never leaving on a side the small things of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I enjoyed listening to many music genres: rock, funk, soul, jazz, blues and reggae. Pink Floyd, Stones, The Doors, The Beatles, Skatalites, Sinatra, Ray Charles, Marley, etc etc... and from the argentinian/spanish-speaking scene: Charly Garcia, Soda Stereo, Dancing Mood, Cultura Profetica, Delio Valdez, Sabina and many others...
BOOKS
Most of my reading have been from latin american writers: novels, short stories, poems and essays. I like reading and discussing philosophy as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Explore Patagonia and the Iguazú Falls.
Jump the longest bungee jumping in the world, in South Africa
Visit Machu Picchu.
Camp at the beautiful Sun Island, Bolivia
Dive in Komodo National Park, Indonesia
Dance salsa in Cuba and Colombia (well, I tried...)
Visit Uyuni salt flats. Amazing spot!!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could teach you some Español :)
As most argentinians, I could prepare and teach you how to make an "asado" if we get the proper ingredients: argentinian barbeque.
I like sharing and getting to know others people's life experiences, anecdotes and culture.
