I'm a happiness-pursuer, whatever that means. I strongly believe that everyone has to make what makes them happy. What makes me happy? Well, my life: I'm an environment passionate, specified in sustainable development with an extra of another one of my passions that I can't leave aside: social transformation. I'm convince that the world can be changed and I work everyday towards that goal. Whatever place I go I take with me thechangeispossible - booster.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will me moving to London and arriving on mid-February. I need a friendly place to stay while a searching for a job and a place to rent. Two weeks as the most.
Once I'm settled I will honoured to be a host.

While planning on moving to London one of the first things was "well, where I'm going to stay the first days? what are my options?" and couchsurfing was one of the first ones if not the firsts. Why? It's cheap, multicultural and I will be able to meet new people.

Interests

I'm an environmental advocate that spends his time within studies on Climate Change and Sustainable Development and NGO's. I'm convinced about the good will of people and that the world can be changed.
I'm sporty and healthy: I'm an amateur runner, a project of Yogui and a vegetarian in transition. I love playing football more than watching it, but a Premier League match ticket would be great! haha

I really enjoy learning new languages but I'm not the best! English and French came with life, Portuguese because our Brazilian neighbours and I'm trying to learn Hindi, I really don't know why. I'm also trying with Esperanto: a friend of mine insist in teaching me it and I can't say no. I'd studied Latin and a little of Greek in high school but I really don't remember a thing about it. Hope one day I got to learn German.

Queen as my favourite music band without discussion. Their music is so incorporated in my system that I rarely listen to it I don't want to overlap things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in the Amazon!!!!!!!
This year I've lived for one month in a community in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. I was part of the Amazon Summer School for Sustainable Leaders. I've jumped from a tree into the Amazon River while I was so scared. You can barely see your hand down there!
Another thing? Because of that I've appeared on TV: I've appeared on NAT GEO!!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really think that the world can be changed: you can start with a smile. I'm convinced that the people have to do what makes them happy and, ones you are in that path the things will start to work. Hey! I love giving talks and while in the Amazon I was able to give my first international talk! It was in positive thinking and "creating your own path".

You know? Like one man said "because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do".
