About Me

I'm mature, I'm kind, I'm respectful; but I'm also wild, easy going and funny. I consider myself as friendly, good with people and capable of handling any time of conversation (without regard to: culture or beliefs). I'm energetic and I like to do many things at the same time. I'm open-minded and I'm not too scared to new experiences (if those follow my own values). I'm pretty creative and pretty proud of it. And I don't know what else to say about myself, so you will have to find out for yourself. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find it better to: stay with a local, to share a nice conversation and maybe a good meal, to make new friends, to get help (or help someone) in a trip and to join someone in their path; than just staying at a hotel by yourself.

Also, Couchsurfing is free.

Interests

I'm interested in: Movies, Series, Video games, Boardgames, Books, Music, Dance, Art in general, Traveling, Philosophy, Psychology, Religion and maybe some other things; but not as much.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I would say Coldplay is my favorite band, and my genre would be more of an independent vibe; I find myself listening to indie music the most often. But, normally, I wouldn't reject listening to other genres too: old or new, instrumental or electronic. If I like the song, I listen to it; no matter what genre it is.

BOOKS: I wish I was more of a bookworm. I find it hard for me to read often. But I'm working on that. I'm trying to get the habit of reading everyday.
Fantasy and Science Fiction are my thing. I also like to read articles and essays, normally focused on Psychological topics. Comics and graphic novels are an interest of mine too. Historical fiction, mystery & thriller, non-fictional, etc. But, like I said before, I don't read that much at the moment.

MOVIES: This is my thing, I LOVE MOVIES. I want to be a filmmaker, so it makes sense that I'm obsessed with movies. But don't worry, it's a healthy obsession.
If it's a good movie, I watch it. I don't care if it's in Japanese or if it's a silent movie. I don't reject horror, neither romance; movies for kids or for grown ups. I tend to watch anything that is available to me. If it's good, it's worth watching. If it is a shitty movie, then, it might be even more of a fun time with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Where I come from, not too many of my friends know English; the norm is just to speak Spanish. Every time I remember that I am able to have a deep conversation in English with someone, to be able to communicate, I feel blessed; and I tell to myself: "What an amazing thing".

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: I can teach you Spanish and Catalan. I can teach you a little bit of Lindy Hop (Swing). I can also teach you about filmmaking. I know some good knowledge about computers that I could teach to you as well. And, of course, I can teach about my way of thinking.

LEARN: I'm interested in learning Piano, but I also wouldn't reject lessons for guitar or any other instruments. I also want to learn French, then some Japanese and Norwegian. I took some dancing classes, so I will like to learn from you any type of dancing you know. If you have a hobby that I know just a little from, I will also like to learn more about it. I try to experience everything in life as much as I can.

SHARE: I can share stories, opinions and a good time with you. Also knowledge from other countries might also come in handy for you. I have made some videos and written some short tales, I could share those with you too. I could share with you a good time with one of my boardgames that I would bring with me on the trip (if I don't forget).

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all: kindness and gratitude. I will respect and take care of your place like if it was my own. I will make sure I'm not bothering you and I will do my best to make you feel like we've been friends for a long time, so it doesn't feel like your letting just an stranger stay at your home. I'll get you to trust me, so you don't have to worry about me.

I like to exchange stories and converse just about anything. If I know about the topic, I will share information and my opinion on it. But if I don't know anything about it, I will be more than glad to listen and learn.

If any hosts wants to join me in any of the trips I'm doing, feel free to be my partner. I will be more than happy to share time with a fellow traveler.

And I also might bring souvenirs from my country to the hosts that are kind enough to let me stay at their place. So, expect that. ;)
