Overview
About Me
I'm a professor in a small school and a part-time tourist guide in Lisbon. I'm an alright kind of guy, picky with socks on the floor but fine with puke all over the toilet so long as I ain't in it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on couchsurfing before, hosting mostly. Back then it was a nice experience and I don't see why it shouldn't keep on being nice now that I have a home to share with weary travellers. This is a nice way of being positively surprised by strangers and to meet new and interesting people. I can never forget how much I enjoyed learning curse words in every language from here to Proxima Centauri.
Interests
History, politics, sports except for football (sorry) and making fun of Darth Trump, Emperor of the World-that-Was-Nuked.

Music, Movies, and Books
Two Steps from Hell and The Prime Cronus crews usually make stuff pump faster in my veins, weird like that; Pandorum for the creeps and Cloud Atlas for the feels; & The Man in the High Castle and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. Sci-fi savant and all
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Although I wasn't the one driving it I managed to survive a funeral van crash during Carnival after which I went fishing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Since the first thing I like to learn is about culture that's usually what I provide the most when it comes to teaching. Portuguese gastronomy, history and nostalgia might be fun to experiment and learning the same of other cultures is what I live for.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company; histories, stories and tales, and plenty of laughter. I tend to be an easygoing person who doesn't snore too much.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey
