About Me
Hi!
Here are some basics about me: I'm an American girl in her twenties hoping to see and explore as much of the world as I can. I speak a little bit of Spanish, much of which I picked up in school.
I'm outgoing, friendly and open to making new friends.
I currently work at a consulting firm, and am trying to figure out next steps for my career and life in general - aren't we all? :) I'd love to work as an Expat one day. I'd also like to be fluent in another language or two!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I decided to join couchsurfing mostly because of the incredible reputation it has for an awesome community of open-minded people who want to experience the world and all it has to offer (people, food, nature, sites, music, etc.).
While I studied international business in college, I find that the experiences I value and appreciate most come from meeting others and learning about their cultures firsthand.
I thrive off of meeting new people and would love to hear your story!
Interests
I enjoy learning about all cultures, but tend to find myself enthralled by Latin America. The people I've met so far (in mostly Argentina and Brazil) have been incredibly friendly and the music and dances are a lot of fun. Of course, I still have a lot to learn! Maybe I'm biased because I've traveled most recently in South America - feel free to try to sway my opinion!
I love playing soccer and many other sports. I'd love to spend some more time outdoors and expand my horizons on that front (hiking, surfing, outdoor adventures, etc.).
