My name is Rocío,I am 26-Years-Old Argentinian. After getting my degree, working in an architect studio and teaching architecture history and theory, I decided to leave this all behind and start traveling around the world with my boyfriend Thomas Eliza van den Berg (from the Netherlands) who, by the way, I met through a couchsurf friend in Rio de Janeiro. I’m thankful to have found somebody with whom I share the same interests with; We both love healthy food, meditation, yoga, reiki, qigong, taking care of people and ourselves. We love meeting new people and learning about their culture, I think we’re both simple people who are conscious of life and love the small things that happen around us. We started a photography project; we want to encourage people to make a change and to make an act of positiveness. We make portraits of people that we meet in our trip and share their message/ideas/projects through our website and social media pages. Through this project we hope to make a small change for the good of the world and life that we all live. We basically want people to share positive or inspirational stories since the media mainly shows us a lot of negativity. That’s why we decided that we want to start traveling around the world together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Learning from other cultures and people we meet during our travels. Life is all about learning and teaching, and we can only do this together. That is why Couchsurfing is such a great medium to us. Cause it gives you the chance to really meet the locals.

I am always looking forward to learning new things, that's why I want to travel around the world. I studied architect, painting, drawing, acting, dancing and also philosophy so I love to see how everything is part of our life.
I want to help people someway and make this world a better world for everybody.

About music, I love salsa, arabic music, tango and rock simple cause I dance those types of rythmes.
I like literaly all kind of music like reggae, Manu Chao, Drexler, Wim Mertens, Tryo, Strokes, Black Keys, Julian Casablancas, Toto La momposina, Putumayo, Fonseca, African and cuban music.

Series, I watched: Games of thrones, Vikings, Merli, WestWorld, Marco Polo... Specially I love the one that talk about an old time.

Movies,I love them all excepto horror movies!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Spanish. Also any dance like: Salsa, Bellydance, tango, Rock, or afro dance.
I can also teach reiki and yoga.
Most important, I am willing to learn from others. I'm a really open person, who's looking foward to share and exchange with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What can I offer? I'm really into cooking! So I can cook some food and share a really nice meal with my hosts!
I can offer a beutiful Reiki session too!
