Overview
About Me
A super chilled, free spirited individual who believes that the world would be better if we could all sit down and have a meal. I'm a software developer by trade and I LOVE technology. I want to use it to make the world a better place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love to meet more people and since I don't get a lot of time to travel, I hope to bring the world to me!
Interests
I love being active. I do lots of yoga, rock climbing, running, swimming, surfing, scuba diving - there isnt a sport I won't try. I would love to do any one of those while traveling, and as a host.
I'm into philosophy, art, technology, photography, documentaries, indie movies, travel, coffee, craft beer, cocktails and so much more . I also enjoy rambling conversations about any of those.

Music, Movies, and Books
I tend towards electronic and dance music, but I love jazz. I have a couple of favorite small jazz bars in NYC that I can show you around to.
My favorite book of this past year is the Emperor of Maladies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a three day canoeing trip on a river in New Zealand with some friends. At some point we found a small cliff by the river and decided to jump off this cliff. As we jumped, we were not sure when we were going to reach the water, because the water was so calm, and we could only see the blue sky reflected in the water. It seemed like forever before we hit the water, and I dreamt about it for many nights afterwards.
I think that is one of the silliest things I've done, since I could have been very hurt, but I like to think that it's the metaphor for how I would like to live my life, headfirst in to the unknown!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new languages, and I love to teach them as well. I can speak a smattering of Japanese and Mandarin, and fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook - I can bring a little piece of my world to you : ) I'm good at improvising and combining new ingredients with different styles I know.
