Overview
About Me
I am open minded, cheerful person.
I live in a house with neglected garden and a pine tree always decorated for Christmas. I have a cat (or the cat has me, you can never be sure around them) named Gangrene and we are always happy to have guests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I own the house I was always glad to have people visiting me. All my friends always knew my doors were open so they never hesitated in introducing me to their foreign guests. Thanks to that I've hosted several visitors from Poland, Italy, France and Germany before learning about Couchsurfing.
I like to interact with people believing that every person you meet teaches you something.
Interests
Drama is my biggest hobby. I've been playing in amateur theatres for seventeen years already and still keep doing that.
I'm also kind of geek so any IT related stuff is within my field of interests.
For six years I've been oraganizing postapocalyptic conventions so I'm into military stuff, survival and prepping.
Beside that I am snowboarding, hand crafting, motorbiking (currently without a bike) and of course travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
When people ask me what type of music do I listen to I alwas reply: 'the good one'. I'm always open to new stuff and am glad to discover new artists and styles.
Saying that, here are some things that I like the most: Glenn Miller, old school rock, some metal bands, electronic music, blues, rock and roll, progressive rock, alternative rock and electronic, folk, electro swing... it doesn't make sense, does it?
When it comes to movies it's pretty much the same - a little bit of everything: Across the Universe, Amadeus, Leon, Dr. Strangelove: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, 12 Monkeys, Full Metal Jacket, Hydrozagadka, Memento, Oldboy, On the Beach, Reservoir Dogs, Seksmisja, Seven Years in Tibet, Star Wars, A man from Earth, Matrix, Animatrix, Trainspotting, 12 Angry Men, Psy...
My favs? I'd go for Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Smsara, American Histroy X.
I'm not really a book worm but I read lots of polish fantasy and I enjoy sci-fi from Jacek Dukaj, Stanislaw Lem, Isaac Asimov, Philip Dick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It'll be two, sorry. :)
1. I decided to go to Norway with the girl I just met and two of her friends for over a week. Hitch hiking and hiking with backpacks through the mountains.
2. I hitchhiked 7300 km to Georgia and back just to spend New Year's Eve in Tbilisi.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make some Polish cuisines.
If you are learning Polish I'd be happy to help you. My theatrical experience can be a big advantage in that case.
I'd love to learn how to make music. I plan to learn how to play harmonica.
Actually any art related knowledge is always worth learning.
I'm ready to share my travel experience or any other experience you might want to share. :)
