English belooow!!
Hi community! My name is Salomé, I'm a Spanish nurse although for the last years I've been living in Slovenia, the UK, Ireland and just on the road.
After a year bikepacking and two months fighting covid in Madrid that almost drive me crazy, maybe it did, maybe it was about the year on the road... Anyway, who cares! Now I'm living in small Arriondas, surrounded by green mountains and blue rivers!
Do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything around and we'll see what we can do!
Sometimes into more things than my mind can keep track of, sometimes just trynna relax and give my brain a break

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to believe there can be a different way of living and thus, of traveling. I love to see people ready to help foreigners and the idea of people trusting one another without minding the cultural barriers.
I love to think a more sustainable, conscious and valuable way of travelling is possible!
Interests
I love to be outdoors; to find out new cozy places for coffee wherever I am, conversations with random people I’ll meet, hiking in the mountains, to walk following the seaside... And adding a bike to any of those plans!
But also enjoy time at home; love reading, listening to music, good conversations, cooking, yoga and meditation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love music, whatever as long as it's good stuff, and to find out new groups.
More into documentaries than movies
Try to read as much as I can
To sum up, anything that makes me think
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I always had amazing experiences in all the countries I've travelled around but maybe one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had and I recommend to everyone was to hike El Camino de Santiago (bag packing in the North of Spain).
Not sure if incredible but for sure the hardest; 10 days of vipassana meditation retreat (silence was mandatory).
Cycling from Spain to Turkey and Cyprus until the pandemic!
Teach, Learn, Share
The most I've learned travelling has been by listening to local people. I'm sure we can all learn something from each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my hammock if there is good weather and two trees!
I can cook vegan food or tasty Spanish omelette if we find eggs from very happy hens :).
(For sure some good vibes, my view of the world and travelling stories are included in the package too).
