About Me
Primeiramente, Fora Temer!
Against the coup d'état in Brazil and its usurping government.
I'm an young and curious PhD student. As a good anthropologist, I'm interested in learning with people and discover new places. I'm a very peaceful and respectful person, besides patient and tolerant. In short, you would be lucky in staying at my home or accepting me as your guest. ;) I don't smoke, I enjoy to drink with other people (and, why not?, alone, sometimes...).
I am at this moment settling again in Paris, after a long time on the road, so I should be receiving soon.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) and samba (but, please, no stereotypes or clichés, I can show you all the diversity of Brazilian music, including samba). Besides, I like the progressive rock classics (not an expert, I only like to listen to that) and I am very open-minded to everything: jazz, Bollywood, pop, world music...
The movies are more complicated, I love a lot of films. It's true that I'm more enthusiastic of some directors, like Bela Tarr, Satyajit Ray and Coppola, but I'm not a cinephile who knows all the movies of each one. Other day I saw again Forrest Gump, this kind of movie we have seen many years ago and at some point we come back. That was interesting... In short, I will be happy to discover new movies.
Well, I am anthropologist who likes books... about anthropology? I am joking, I like a lot of stuff besides that. Recently I have been discovering Indian Literature, starting by the classics: VS Naipaul, Amitav Ghosh, Tagore... I like too Brazilian literature (what I can share with you, if you are interested), Some Russian authors and French literature. I like Philosophy as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got salmonella when I've travaled to India. Believe me, I don't know if this is "amazing", but it's not ordinary anyway. Otherwise, I am a normal person with a normal life, who likes to move around.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Portuguese, French, something about Anthropology, and maybe a little of my skills as scout (or rather what I still remember of that...)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good vibes, some wine and stories.
