Overview
About Me
I'm a calm, curious and helpful person, easy to get along with. I don't smoke. I also prefer conversations over partying.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to go hitch-hiking to meet new people and have unorthodox conversations. Now I don't travel that much, but sometimes it's just good to know that in case I end up somewhere on the other end of the world, somebody else might kindly offer me a couple of square meters on the floor :) Also, who says no to an opportunity to exchange human experiences instead of sleeping in a sterile hotel environment and following tourist guides.
At the moment I live in a student corridor so I'm not able to host anybody, but I plan to move out to my own place soon, and then my doors will be open for all openminded and kind people :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I gladly listen to heavy metal, folk-inspired music, IDM, all kinds of progressive and experimental stuff you can't easily classify. And normal music.
Fahrenheit 451, Firefly, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Everything is Illuminated, Clockwork Orange, 12 Angry men, Life of Brian, The Gamers, Folk flest bor i Kina, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Planet Earth to name a few.
Everything by Terry Pratchett. And 19th century realism. And many other readings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to help one seemingly hopeless classmate to do math at school, maybe 9th grade, and he went from low to top!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you about linguistics and fix your computer!
If you can teach me to play a tune on some instrument, or how to tell a difference between a male and female blackbird - I would not leave your place until you do :)
