About Me

The 21st century gave rise to a ton of awesome discoveries and technology. Among which one of them I can really identify with: Biotechnology. The rational engineering of life around us allows us to produce.. well.. whatever we want really. Its amazing.

Other than that I love food. If I say so myself, a pretty good cook. I specialize in low'n'slow cooking.

Jan to May 2015 I went to the University of Minnesota to study. Absolutely great experience. The midwest is awesome. I am so thankful for the people I've met and the friends I've made.

Philosophies I live by:

**Be good to others. The world wasn't build by stepping on each others backs, but by cooperating.

**Success is not a goal to be reached. It's something you live.

**The world is a beautiful place. It's not out to get you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still fairly new to couchsurfing, but not a complete rookie anymore. I feel that CS is one of those great institutions that allow the world to bond. Through experiences with people from other cultures I believe a person can expand his/her horizon. I live to learn and experience. And I believe that through initiatives as CS, I can grow and help others grow as well.

Interests

I have a number of interests which can be summed up into three groups:

1: Food. I love to cook great food from the bottom. Which is also why I grow my own vegetables on a small plot near my dorm, and why I go hunting for wild ducks.

2: Reading and writing. The stories that lurk beneath the cover any good book have always enticed me. Which is also why I have started writing my own book. It's a work in progress but I'm getting there.

3: Experiencing new things. Travelling, eating weird things, going out, and talking with new people. The world is open. And it's awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading. Always have. It began with Harry Potter and now I read all sorts of stuff. Mostly Sci-fi.

The idea of colonizing new planets excites me. I want to go to Mars and biomine minerals, so right now I'm reading about that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 19, I went to China for 9 month with a friend. We knew no-one over there, and had only a vague idea of what to do (for work), where to live and how to get around. It was quite frankly pretty terrifying. But that was what made it awesome. Biggest adventure of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone basic cooking skills as well as a few phrases in Danish (If anyone is crazy enough to want that).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to cook you an awesome meal and take you out for beers.

Looking forward to meet you.
