Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love the journeys. I want to make friends over the world. I want any traveler have a chance to immerse Viet Nam beauty by local experience, do cultural exchange and catch up with locals as me.
I have begun to travel since 2010, and I discovered how amazing is to know people not from my comfortable zone and discovered many nice place I never see. When I tried Couchsurfing for the first time, I realized that there are different ways to connect to people all over the world free and more interesting.
Recently I want my children and my neighbor's children have a chance to connect with foreigner: to be confident, improve their skill, learn English.
It can be good choice for you to meet Vietnamese local and sharing meaningful moments with us here. At my house we can interact more things: do outdoor activities together, cooking, share stories, enjoy the local life, enjoy a swim in the sea, spend time with so many kids, exchange culture, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a tour in Phú Quốc Island with my friends. I love this places. It's so beautiful and friendly. I get to be comfortable with natural in Phú Quốc. I made friends with some local people and enjoyed so much.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live with my wife and 2 children in Quang Dong commune, 6 km from Ngang pass. I feel good to stay here in peaceful atmosphere, no pollution, cozy house with friendly neighbor around. Before I lived in Ho Chi Minh city then I moved to here for working then settled. I don't stop myself go over the place by travelling, reading book, attending event in city, getting online course, investing activity. This is one of a reason I welcome "couchsurfer" around the work visit. I have only one room in new house for guest in their journey. I prefer welcoming guest arrive in the weekend because we can spend time more.
I really want to communicate with foreign, improving our English, helping them out difficult thing when travelling in Viet Nam. Besides I want to introduce more amazing things in Vietnam to friends over the world about culture, food, people, etc.

HOW TO GET TO MY HOUSE:
- By personal vehicle: just follow the link of google maps as above
- By bus: tell a driver stop at Rio hotel (https://maps.app.goo.gl/FmCM18cc4kt39VG27). Then walk to my house around 150m. I uploaded some photos as guiding.

Note:
My place is 80 km from Phong Nha caves, 350 km from Ha Noi, 230km from Hue.
You can recognize our area by Ngang pass (https://maps.app.goo.gl/X9Z7mTREg9h5vDNh9) and Tasco tollbooth (https://maps.app.goo.gl/d4S1E5MMJ3LLx4J5A). My house is in between 2 of these popular places.
Bus's price is 60.000vnd from Dong Hoi bus station (for 70km) and 120.000vnd from Vinh bus station (for 140km) and 200.000vnd from Hue. Recognize bus for that route easily by name board at bus windshield.
We can host maximum of 2 people with 2 nights on one room. Sometime please respect us for staying 1 night due to certain reason: weather, family work, availability, etc. If someone is really interested in connecting with local children we prefer extending a stay longer if possible.
Pending your confirmation of a stay time until a closer day of ETA.
We accept for a guest request for staying at least 6 hours in advance and come in daytime. We would decline my offer after requesting to CSer within 3 days because we want to make spare room for another guest.
