About Me

My name is Antón, I am an 19 years old student from Galicia, Spain. I am a friendly person who loves meeting new people and discovering some amazing experiences.
I love magic, to play the saxophone and of course to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My parents pay my studies, and it is not cheap. I want to travel, but I refuse the idea of making them spend much more money for that, so I am trying to travel around europe by the cheapest way possible.

Interests

I am looking for new experiences. Traveling you meet different cultures, points of view, other people with totally opposite ideals, what will makes you able to be more open in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Indie music. My favorite bands are The Kooks, Sufjan Stevens, Two Door Cinema Club, Bon Iver... You can hear one of my favourite songs here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZapJzlivGY

The most amazing film I've ever seen is Into the Wild, followed by The Beaver and Million Dollar Baby. Grease and The Lord of the Rings are awesome too!

Finally, my favorite book is The Name of the Wind, an incredible book that I recommend to everyone. I love Bukowsky and Tolstoi, and I'm starting reading Kafka.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 10, one morning I took the canoe we have at home and I went through the whole estuary near where I live (9 kilometers). My parents know nothing.
I performed doing magic this year; such an incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurfing calls me because with that you go one more step than just traditional traveling. I think I will learn a lot about, as I've said, different cultures, points of view etc, despite of sharing a single day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Company, exciting stories about the trip, new standpoints... I know a little bit of magick too, oh, and I can teach a little bit how to cook typical spanish food, like the famous "Tortilla"!

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Morocco, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain
