About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hello, I am Jari. What you're about to read here further on is a story about me, a guy from Sweden who's about to embark upon one of his first great adventures in his life.

At this moment I'm living at my parents house with my two little sister. Because of that I won't be able to host, but If you're visiting Gothenburg and want a tour of this lovely city I'm down with that!
During this spring of 2015 me and my girlfriend Anna have plans on traveling in the USA for 10 weeks (Mars 31st - 12th of June). We begin in CA, where we're going to spend most of our time, and end up in NY for a couple of weeks. I am so very excited about this trip because this is my first trip outside of Europe and since Im from Sweden I'd love to take a cup of coffee (what swedes call fika).

When we get back to Sweden we got plans on getting our own flat in Lund and we would be thrilled to host fellow travelers from around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered to the Finnish army where I spent 1 year. The reason was primarily to get better in crossfit but that year turned into so much more. During that year in Finland I got to spend lot more time with my grand parents which I usually get to visit once or twice per year. I learned how to speak Finnish better and even if some parts of it was the hardest things I've done it was one of the best years in my life. Although, it's always easy to reminisce and I remember myself cursing that I had chosen to do all that voluntarily.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Im a tidy person and leave no mess around me. Other than that Im great company - Im always interested in other peoples stories.
