About Me

Hello there!

I'm a 22 year old Montrealer who loves traveling. I have been fortunate to start visiting other countries when I was very young, at 4 years old! I went to Paris with my grand-mother. I guess you could say I was hooked from then.

As for me more generally, I am enthusiastic and opinionated and I love to have a good laugh and discover new things.
In the last few months I have been volunteering for Québec Solidaire, a pro-independance socialist political party in Québec, and it's been great, although I do not think I want to make my life there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For my next adventure, I will be studying in Madrid for a semester, and I'm very excited! I will arrive in Madrid mi-januray, and I am hoping I could couchsurf until february, when I will move in to a piso compartido.

I was thinking couchsurfing would be a good way to aclimtize myself to my new city for the next five months, and start meeting people.
I'm hoping my host can show me around and explain to me the madrid and spanish ways. I would love to feel like a madrile~na at the end of the semester.

Also, I have had non official "couchsurfing" experiences many times in my travels, and it was always an enriching experience; the first time I was in Spain when I was 14, and then in Costa Rica 2 years later, and finally in Ecuador when I was 19.

Teach, Learn, Share

Whenever I visit a new place, I am very interested in it's culture, may it be the food, the cinema, the music, and, of course, politics. The situation with Cataluna is fascinating to me, and I would very much like to hear differents' people's points of view on the subject. I would also love to learn more about spanish culture, other then Almadovar and paëlla! :P (I do know more then just those two things, don't worry!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to teach, so if you want to learn or practice french I would be glad to teach you. In turn I look forward to practicing and improving my spanish.
