About Me
Hello! My name is Agustin. I am a 30-years-old web programmer traveling!
I lived in Argentina until I was 28 years old, when I started to travel around the world. I headed to the US (east coast) and after a few months I landed on Aix-en-Provence (France), where I lived one month before moving to Barcelona, two and a half years ago. There, I started to work in a small french company in it's software team, where I learn a lot every day! We have a very cool office and feel very lucky to work with people from lots of different countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, but also always try to avoid tourist-targeted tours and activities, as I really like to discover the authentic essence of the cities I visit. I believe that talking to people and sharing experiences is the best way to get to know a place!
This is why I think supporting these ideas is very important, specially because they are a mean this way of travelling.
Interests
When not doing nerdy stuff, I really enjoy cooking, trying out recipes, but also like music, and try to play the guitar and sing.
Going out at night to see music venues is something I always look for!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like lots of different kinds of music, from Neil Young to Michael Jackson, to Dinosaur Jr and folk music.
As for movies, I like classic films from the 80's, 90's but also like contemporary ones like Weiner Dog, Moonrise Kingdom or Swiss Army Man.
Currently, I am reading only technical books :P but once in a while i slip in an adventure one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the Pirineos with my brother and we made free camping in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by mountains covered by snow! It was a really good experience in the wild!
