About Me

Hello! My name is Jess.

I believe stories bring people together, and we all have our own unique stories to share with one another.

Coming from a graphic designer background now tapping into the business strategy world, I am highly interested in the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural sensitivity. (Also love a good chat about anything sociology, behavior studies, design thinking, or anything nerdy and philosophical)

Besides what I do as a young professional, I am also an equestrienne (big horse lover), a scuba diver, a martial arts practitioner, and a world traveler!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up as a Third Culture Kid (TCK), traveling is always part of my life. I grew up bouncing between Taiwan, Germany, China and United States. I look forward to meeting new friends through Couchsurfing and learn about new culture, food & insider's tip while traveling.

Side note: share with me all your favorite local markets! Food, arts & crafts, floral, flea markets are the best places for sponging in the local vibes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in combining creativity, business innovation and social impact. I believe that "social impact” is to not only “do good”, but also change of behavior and redefine culture. Or, in one short sentence: I use design (as a tool to execute and a framework of thinking) to bring positive impact to our society.
