Welcome to Paraty!

I'm Wado, born and raised at the one of the most charming cities in Brazil, Paraty . I'm an artist by nature, I love singing, playing guitar and writing poetry. I do also have a studio gallery filled with paintings. I love nature.

My family has been living in the same house for the past 160 years and we are one of the only remaining traditional families in the fast-growing Paraty.

I have started my tour guide and tour operator life in 2005 when I've completed my course and started to free lance as a local tour guide for many companies in Paraty. Then a great opportunity came up which I've worked for one of the biggest travel agencies in the world for 5 years where I had the opportunity of guiding a variety of groups all throughout South America, managing transportation and accommodation bookings, leading groups of 15 people for up to 40 days, experiencing from deserts to tropical rain forests trails.

I have worked in many sustainable volunteer projects with communities (fishermen and indigenous). I do believe and I am always looking for a sustainable interaction with visitors.

Now I'm back to my hometown and very happy for that. Working again as a local tour guide and tour operator with a great and unique experience.
My tours are carefully designed to meet our client's specifications, special interest, time frame, number of participants and preferred mode of transportation within Paraty or other parts of Brazil. The tours led by me are tailored to care for the needs, safety and satisfaction of our travelers who are seeking to explore and understand the diversity and richness of Brazilian culture.

I am fascinated with studying affairs of tourist's interests and it adds a lot to the performance of my job. I feel honoured by becoming a host to new friends and travelers.
