I can appreciate any kind of music.

With movies, I usually go for those that require multiple viewing. Non-linear narratives like Chungking Express, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Rashomon, A Tale of Two Sisters and Mr. Nobody. Aside from that, I'm fond of movies that explore culture and Philosophy (ex. works by Akira Kurosawa, Hiroshi Teshigahara) and promote awareness for social diversity (ex. works by Lino Brocka, Ishmael Bernal, Brillante Mendoza).

I've read some books by Henry David Thoreau, Henry Miller, Paulo Coelho, Kobo Abe, F. Sionil Jose, Albert Camus, Haruki Murakami, Banana Yoshimoto, Hubert Selby, Chuck Palahniuk, Irvine Welsh, Junot Diaz; etc.
