O mnie
Nature-lover freak. Loves to hike with new friends. Open-minded woman who isn't afraid to try things.
When people wants to visit the countryside or mountains and want to stay "near the city center", it freaks me out a bit. What's the point of staying in a countryside when you want to stay in the city or town center? Unless you want to stay in hotels with spa and room service, go ahead. Go wild in the wild peeps! Unleash your inner caveman (or cavewoman!) Don't be a loser.
Please if you requested to stay, let me know in advance if you changed your plans as I do plan my days with other guests too. There is nothing more annoying than getting a message on the arrival date that "sorry, I'm staying with someone else". If you do, that's fine. But please, I would appreciate if you let me know beforehand.
Btw, as a foreigner staying here, I don't own the place. But you can stay in my host family's guesthouse. My way of hosting is through free walk-around tours, drinks and sometimes cooking if I don't feel too tired as I also work from morning until evening (that is if I'm not working or on tours myself).
There is also a Pinoy hostel now in Borjomi where you can find the only ADOBO hub. Check out the Camp Borjomi Spa Hostel.
I would also teach you how to get to Vardzia and Akhaltsikhe from here and other places such as Bakuriani. I will even show you the trails for the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park on a map. There are tours going there if you ask me, I can give you more info. If you want to hitchhike, that's fine but on winter months, it's not really a good idea. You can join the tour instead. Part of the tour cost will go to the development of a campsite that will cater to hikers and some community service for village kids.
I don't discriminate if you are LGBT. I like talking to different people! Normal ones, crazy ones, you tell me. (Yes, whisper it to me :D). I'm a good listener.
In a small village, of a small town where foreigners are rare, I am always excited to talk and meet fellow foreigners.
I am the only KABAYAN here in the region. We are aware that some nationalities are known to be notorious at wanting everything for free (yes, the locals know it). We as kabayans do not think like that and even would find other options (hostels, guesthouses, tours) helpful. Georgia is not a rich country and you being able to afford to fly here, you are far more luckier than most of the locals here. Being here, you can help the community, the local shops, the drivers, the families guesthouses. Count your blessings. Cheers!
Find me in FB as Ybur Bebitashvili. Or meetup.com for events https://www.meetup.com/Tbilisi-Kabayan-Georgian-Travel/

Not surfing right now. But if you Tbilisians like me enough, invites would not be turned down. But please, let me know long beforehand if you changed your plans. I drop everything when I get request, even going to the city. So please make sure you are coming when you make a request.
