About Me

Urbanistic architect, I have already done out projects on the scale of the city as well as an exhibition of artistic intervention in an art gallery, and today I have been very captivated by the music world, investing time studying musical structure as well as the strings and percussion instruments, dedicating more time to study the acoustic double bass, djembê, atabaque and ganzá.

Now, I´m traveling during 2 years, so, I can´t host. But I have tips to you if want to go to São Paulo. I used to live in downtown, which allowed me to enjoy many cultural events that are offered in public spaces and with good quality music, usually produced by collectives that have had international repercussions in the Music scene.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that this a wonderful way to get the culture in the new places, and also to meet incredible people that is open-mind and can start to be friends! All that I´ve been, until now, started a be my friends, and I love it! Exchange so much about our lifes, countries, culture and be part of ours lifes.

Now I'm in a 2-years leave that means a journey around the world, that makes possible to meet new people and new cities. :D
I took a 2 years leave of my job, and i wanna spend half of this time travelling around europe and north africa and, maybe, in the next year, do a master in urban planning and project of public spaces, or travel more in South America.

Music, Movies, and Books

when travelling... i like learn about regional and traditional music. Specially when with dance, festivals and rituals that express the culture.
Also about books and films... if you have some tip about good books (poetry, art, music, history and architecture), music or films that you like and it’s produced or talk about the country, i would like to know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last year (2017), i played percussion instrument in carnival with a big group of women musicians (something like 300 women!!) that call Ilú Oba de Min. It was a wonderfull experience!!! It's a big group that explore african influence in the brazilian culture (exploring the music, the religiosity, the dance and women's empowerment).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Brazilian things: some brazilian food and brasilian music.
And talk about travels and the life!!! I'm very excited about travels and how this can open-mind to know about other ways to live! We can divide experiences!
And also i like to go to bars, pubs and concerts, like jam sessions. I´m in this travel also to hang out and have fun in new places.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, Uruguay
