Hello! My name is Paula, I'm a 23 year old Journalism student from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I've always liked to travel so I save every penny I get to do it. I’ve lived in the United States, the Netherlands and England. I'm a very outgoing person, love to make friends and getting to know other cultures. Deep conversations are something that I love. I also do travel photography as a hobby and I’m producing my first documentary. Unfortunately I can't host people since I live with my family, but I'll be more than happy to show you around if you're in Rio! I used to work at a hostel so I know a lot about the city. Don't know how to describe myself but I hope that's good!

Meeting locals can be such an amazing experience for both sides and I'm a huge fan of it. I like to have a local insight and get involved with the place I'm in as much as possible, and do the same for the people visiting Brazil :-)

I can show you what having a Brazilian at home is like! We are very happy and cheerful and very open to new experiences.
I am a good cook and I'll be more than happy to cook you some meals, as well as teaching Portuguese, Spanish or anything that I know and you want to learn.
Welcoming someone to your house is a big deal and I'll make sure both of us have a great time! :)
