About Me

Sociable, energetic, healthy, peaceful, calm, adventurous, family-minded and approachable. I love nature, flowers, rivers, trees and animals; they’ve always decorated this (ill-treated) world alongside the best work and behaviour of human beings. I hate hate, I always see, or like seeing, the bright side of people, everybody has a light to illuminate every soul. I like playing with kids, I see playing like a time machine activity that takes me back to my childhood, to its typical and childish attitudes which stop shining when we grow up. I also admire old people; they have charming stories, memories, and cheerful manners, and lead a humble way of life that seems they’re not from here. I’m very nostalgic, these people are different, they take me back to the old times with their stories as if I were part of them. However, It doesn’t mean I dislike the present, it has its pros and cons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it’s an opportunity to discover the world, and the people’s world who can give you an eager hand and link you with others, with other fires as Galeano says: “every person lights with their own flame among the other ones … others burn their life with so much eagerness that you can’t look at them without winking, and those who get closer, catch fire”

Interests

I’m a musician, and I love listening to music. I like being open-minded and for that reason, I listen to a wide variety of genres. I’m a lector, I love spending my time reading in a peaceful and natural environment, and if possible, together with a soft piece of classical music, like nocturnes for instance. Education, I read a lot about it and I’m interested in changing education of my country to a considerable extent, learning from other alternative educational models from last century, originated in Europe. That’s my dream. I like being in good health (although I like going out and drink… you know what jaja), running, playing football, and cycling. Besides, as people tend to say they like “cars”, well, I like trains! Haha, I love what it has to offer to society and the world, economic, social, environmental benefits, needless to say the number of jobs it provides. I long someday they come back so as to revive towns, relieve overcrowding in big cities, and ease congestion in roads.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’d say visiting my grandparents, helping my parents, singing to my family and to my mum in her retirement party, spending time with them and friends, composing my first song for the first of my friends of becoming a father, and raising every time I’ve fallen, especially in my worst days. Last year I finished the English Teaching Course!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English, playing the instruments I know how to play, guitar, ukulele, mandolin and charango, and computing to a certain extent.
I keep on learning English and I’d like to learn botany, sign language, Italian, French, piano and singing.
I share my experiences, songs, knowledge and friendship

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowledge, mornings, afternoons and nights of friendship, music, willing hands to work, to cook, my culture and experiences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Cuba
