Overview
About Me
I’m a 28-year-old anthropologist who works with kids. I love what I do, but I needed a break from daily life after a busy time, so I quit my job and my apartment to travel around Europe for a while. I plan to do a Master in health anthropology when I get back home as I want to work with kids and mental health.
Traveling around I am switching between big cities and nature destinations as I enjoy going to art museums, concerts, and drinking lots of coffee in cafés but also love hiking in the mountains. What I especially like about traveling though is listening to the stories of locals. This is why Couchsurfing is precious to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I care about people and their stories and Couchsurfing is a portal to this. Also the concept of sharing and connecting is beautiful.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like different kinds of music but rarely big radio hits. Indie rock, americana, alternative pop, grunge, punk, ambient.
I enjoy writers such as Haruki Murakami, Patti Smith, Bell Hooks, Ursula K. Le Guin.
Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Love Death and Robots, Conversations with Friends, Moomin
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I think about doing amazing things I think about my job. Working with kids is amazing and meaningful. Also being a true friend. Travel vise I have hiked to Everest Base Camp, that was kind of cool. And I’ve been traveling and hiking solo the most amazing remote places around Europe the last month.
