As a farm boy coming from the Canadian prairies, I have always enjoyed exploring nature, whether that means cycling among canola fields, canoeing the North Saskatchewan River, or hiking in the Rocky Mountains. These activities have shaped my desire to discover the wonders of the world around me. However, my excitement is not exclusive to the natural. I am in awe of many kinds of architecture and other urban spectacles. When I’m not exploring buildings, I can be found cooking a nice meal, reading a book, or throwing a Frisbee with friend.

I am on couch surfing because I believe it is the best way to travel. Since with couch surfing you can actually experience a taste of how locals live in their country you know you will get the real deal. Plus you get to meet new people and make new friends that you may never had had the chance to meet cause anyone who is willing to open their home to strangers must be cool!
