My name is Rochelli, and my husband is Lucas. I am a dentist and he is an engineer. We love meeting people and places and getting to know new cultures always makes us thrilled!
We have been married for 2 years and a half now and we don't have kids yet.
We are a very open minded couple and very easy-going.
Travelling and meeting people are our things! We've been working on this project of a career break for 1 year to travel around the world, and now we are very excited to see our biggest dream coming true soon!!
We talk a lot, we laugh a lot, we have fun with the most simple things. Anything amuses us.
We love cooking and sharing with friends, especially with a good wine or beer! :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We are new in CS and we intend to both host and surf!

First of all we understand that all the best memories we have from our trips are always with friends that we made in each place we went, because we really love sharing and learning and bonding!
Another important thing is that we really want to have people from other cultures staying at our home and sharing experiences and moments with us! We will do our best to warmly welcome our future guests!

We think that Couchsurfing is not about a free host. It's indeed a great opportunity to share not only our homes but also our lifestyle and our hearts!

We are looking forward to have our first experience in CS!!

兴趣

We love to scuba dive and we're in to photography, Oh! And also make some experiments in the kitchen, it's great to eat what you cook!!
We wish to learn how to cook different kinds of food from many countries and regions on our 1 year trip! (Especially vegetarian dishes, 'cause I am vegetarian and Lucas also enjoys eating healthy)
We also enjoy studying languages, history and science.

Well, Lucas reads a lot, much more then I do, haha!!! He reads everyday and he loves books!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first thing that pops to mind is the Voluntary Project that we participate in the Amazon - Alto Arapiuns. It aims to take dental care and education to isolated populations near the Arapiuns River (an Amazon's Tributary), where you go by boat some 14h to reach and stay 4 days at a time. It's a wonderful experience and makes you rethink the way you live.
