Overview
About Me
I am about to finish my masters in Edinburgh and am looking forward to some short-term backpacking around the UK and hopefully elsewhere in Europe. I've been wanting to be part of this community long back, but it's been during this year that I finally got the chance to actually travel!
I am a easy-going, fun person and relaxed person, but I can get pretty serious when it comes to certain stuff. My life revolves around the following: respect, music, people, laughter, arts, nature, equality, books, relaxed weekends, wine and mojitos, details and even more laughter and arts, plus lots of passion and contemplation. I like the sound of things and places and I have this intense love for trees.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe a society with true sense of community is still possible. To lean from each other and share what we can are the biggest joys in life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books (authors): Haruki Murakami, Julio Cortázar, Joyce Carol Oates, Gabriel García Márquez.
Movies: The Lion King, Hard Candy, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Juno, Amelie, V for Vendetta.
Shows: Friends, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, CSI.
Music: I could go forever here, so I'll summarize. I'm mostly into singer-songwriter stuff and indie-folk (like Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Elliot Smith). Additionally, I really like indie (lots of it), 70s-80s rock, electronica (dubstep and house mostly), jazz (from old-school Ella & Louis to contemporary Tal Wilkenfeld. Only bebop style is off my list), fusion styles, new wave instrumental, acoustic. My all-time favorite musician is Sarah McLachlan.
