Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've a couple of friends that have hosted and travelled with CouchSurfing for a couple of years. I've never had the opportunity to host, but now that I'me travelling I tought with would be great to start doing it, so that I could meet new people around the world.

Tengo algunos amigos que han recibido a gente y viajado através de CouchSurfing algunas vecez. Nunca he recibido con CS, pero ahora que estoy viajando, pensé que seria bueno empezar para conocer a gente de todo el mundo.

Interests

I love music, cinema, reading. But I like even more to have a nice evening with some friends or meeting new people and just talk about for hours and hours with a good table of food and a couple of drinks.

Amo musica, cinema y leer. Pero lo que más me gusta es pasar una noche con amigos o conocer nuevas personas y, simplesmente, hablar durante horas con buena comida y unas copitas.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - There so many that I can state my favorites, but, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and such, The Queen, David Bowie, brazilian bossanova and samba. Political stand music such as Zeca Afonso or José Mário Branco are also among my top.
Movies - All of Stanley Kubrick, Miguel Gomes (portuguese director) and Her (Spike Jonze, one of the best)
Books - Evangelho segundo Jesus Cristo, de José Saramago; all of Luis Sepulveda, and I've just finished Longe de Veracruz, from Enrique Vila-Matas

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Still haven't done something that I can call amazing or wonderful. I believe little things are the most wonderful thing we have in this life, and I try to accumulate as much of them as I can, and by sharing them, try to create a better world.

No creo que haya hecho nada de "amazing" todavia. Acredito que las cositas pequenitas son lo más importante en la vida y acumularlas y compartirlas para hacer un nuevo y mejor mundo es lo mejor que podemos hacer.
