Hola Fellow travelers

When people ask me what my interests are, I usually begin with travelling for some reason. Then comes the next question " ooh....where all have you been to?". Well that was the hard part because i haven't been to a lot of places. So i would say " well..i haven't been to many places yet.But soon." But then soon turned to months and years and before I know it, I am 23. I guess that's long enough for soon. Its finally time to do it.

So here I am on my first solo backpacking to the northeast. I am scared, excited and exhilarated. Filled with excitement for the people , cultures, and experiences that comes with the journey. If you are a fellow traveler, I look forward to meeting you, to hear your stories, to share memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a traveler and a tourist are two very different things. I prefer the former.

Being a traveler means , having the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture. What better way to do it than hear the stories from someone who have lived their whole life there. people who can show you the real beauty beyond tourist attractions. People who you can learn things from, both about the place and life. This is where couchsurfing comes in. It gives me the opportunity for all that. It is the biggest travel community that I know of. And i know that everyone I meet here will have a story that i want to hear.

Interests

Travelling for sure.

Books. fantasy fiction, fiction and non fiction in the order of preference.

Love trying new food. I simply close my eyes and try to experience how the tastes blends in together and how a tiny little ingredient can change the taste so much. I believe our tastes are acquired. That means every cuisine has a story to tell. The way they taste is nothing less than an expression of the culture itself.
