I recently graduated as a civil engineer and now I spend most of my time studying for a couple of exams I have to take. I love to host people and get to learn about other cultures, get to know different music, food, habits and everything. I've lived in Goiânia almost my whole life so I know some cool stuff to show you about my city! I live with my mother and a brother, and they also love being hosts!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like the idea of getting to know people from all around the world. We brazilians are very receptive, we love hosting and providing a good stay for our hosts. Also, I love to travel and I think staying at a native's home is the best way to know the place better and really get into the local culture.

Interests

I really love music and everything it provides me. I love going to music festivals! I think it's the best way to get to know new artists and new people. I also enjoy going to museums when I'm abroad, to walk around the cities, to visit parks and to taste the local food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could translate my music taste in one festival that I think everybody has heard of: Lollapalooza. It mixes up my favorite indie rock bands and my favorite edm djs. I'm also crazy about brazilian music! Samba, pagode, sertanejo, rap, mpb, bossa nova, it doesn't matter, I love it all! Horror movies are my favorites, but I also enjoy romances, dramas, comedies... pretty much everything! My favorite book series is A Song of Ice and Fire.

I've visited the amazon rainforest and slept at a floating house in the middle of the amazon river.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm passionate for languages! I'm brazilian, so I speak portuguese. I'm also fluent in english. Now I study french and I know a really basic spanish, but I'm willing to study more! I can teach you my language if you want, and I want to know more of yours. I know how to cook some of the traditional food of Goiânia, and I can give you my recipes, and I would love to get yours too! I'm available to help you with whatever you need while you're with me, and I love to be helpful!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Places to eat, bars, night clubs, parks, museums... I have a car so if I'm not too busy I can give you a ride wherever you want to go. I know some pretty cool places to go in my state too, if you want to leave Goiânia for a couple of days.
