I was living off the grid there for the past 6 months. I'm delighted to be back in my city which I realized I deeply love and enjoy, even more when is with others.

Awake and aware. Hyper present in the moment.
Easy going, chill, relax, and positive.
Super fun to be around, always jolly.
Definitely natural charisma and a heart of gold.
A willingness to show you around MVD - Colonia or East is always there for you to take.

From age 24 to my 30's I was pursuing a Monastic life vocation in Argentina, Colombia and US being part of the Trappist Monks community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a way of living, I'm really passionate and dedicate all of my energy and free time, to make a really special tailored walking tour which usually takes around 2 to 3 hours in a part of the city others don't show, so I'm committed in giving travelers unique experiences because it just runs thru my DNA.

I've hosted wonderful people. Today I take it very serious as taking visitors to get to know MVD as true locals, showing them the real vibe of the city where none else take them.

I'm always driven to be the tour guy cause of knowledge about my surroundings.
So I grew up in Prado Montevideo Uruguay and is one of the fanciest neighborhoods in the city.
Besides Prado Park like our Central Park or Retiro Park is the lung that makes MVD breathe.

Hosting people I've come to know that the only part of the map they show travelers in Montevideo is ciudad vieja, centro, parque rodo, pocitos... thats awesome but also one of the safest palces to be is around Prado and the views the areas are to die for. The architecture, the buildings, the parks and museums and some other hidden gems make it one of the best sites and attraction for visitors.

I show it off basically every day thru hangouts and events in CS.

Think hangouts is the best feature CS has to offer, but again, be really mind and know how to use it.
