One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most rewarding experiences in my life has been organizing and leading projects aimed at empowering young people and fostering their understanding of political and media literacy. Through these initiatives, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact education and awareness can have on individuals and their communities.
By creating a safe and inclusive space for dialogue, collaboration, and learning, we provided young people with the tools to critically analyze political systems and media landscapes. Through workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities, we explored topics such as the importance of informed citizenship, media bias, fact-checking, and understanding the influence of social media.
Witnessing the growth and development of the participants has been truly inspiring. Many of them not only gained a deeper understanding of the complexities of politics and media but also developed the confidence and skills to engage in constructive dialogue, question narratives, and advocate for positive change.
Moreover, these projects had a ripple effect beyond the participants themselves. The knowledge and skills they acquired were shared with their peers, families, and broader communities, creating a cascading impact that extended far beyond the initial project scope. Seeing the enthusiasm and passion of these young individuals as they became catalysts for change in their own circles has been incredibly fulfilling.
I firmly believe that empowering young people with the tools to navigate and critically assess the political and media landscapes is vital for building informed and engaged societies. This experience has reinforced my commitment to promoting education and awareness as powerful agents for positive change. It has shown me that by investing in the potential of young minds, we can create a brighter future where citizens are informed, empowered, and actively participate in shaping the world around them.

What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest staying with you, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute and share meaningful experiences. Here are some things I can offer:
Cultural Exchange: Coming from Croatia, I have a rich cultural background that I would love to share with you. Whether it's through cooking traditional Croatian dishes together, teaching you some basic Croatian phrases, or sharing stories about our customs and traditions, I believe in the power of cultural exchange to foster understanding and appreciation.
Conversations and Perspectives: I enjoy engaging in thought-provoking conversations on a wide range of topics. As a sociology student, I bring a unique perspective on societal issues, human interactions, and the complexities of our modern world. I am always open to discussing and exchanging ideas, sharing insights, and learning from each other's experiences.
Tech Expertise: My boyfriend, who is a mobile app developer, possesses valuable tech skills that he can share.
