Présentation
À propos de moi
My name is Anniken, and I am a single young Norwegian woman who love to travel. I am an experienced politician, and I worked as a writer on renewable energy at a website run by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology for a year. My life is all about learning what the world has to offer, and how I can enjoy it the most. I hope to work internationally in the future, my dream occupation being an ambassador or a diplomat for the government. For the time being I live in Linares, Chile.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I want to make real and lasting friendships all over the world. I want local and authentic experiences, and having an opportunity to immerse in the culture and practice the language . That is why I am on Couchsurfing.
Centres d'intérêt
I love new experiences, and care much for local culture, (vegetarian) cuisine and language. Two of my favorite activities are to sit outside a small café with a nice cup of coffee or tea just observing life passing by, and exploring libraries and off-beaten markets and streets. I am a dedicated politician, and constantly working with improving people's life is my passion. My main areas in Norwegian politics are environment, city planning, minority language rights, agriculture and international cooperation. I used to dance swing, play the guitar and write short stories, and I still enjoy these activities despite that I rarely do it any longer.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
My favorite book is "The perks of being a wallflower", written by Stephen Chbosky. It is about the introvert teenager Charlie who describes his life in a series of letters to an anonymous stranger. It is so mysterious and beautiful in a way only this book manages to be.
I love many films, but "Billy Elliot" must be the one I love the most. Billy is a working class boy who grew up in Thatcher's England. He loves ballett, but his father does not approve of it. Personal conflicts easy to identify with makes this film a lovely story about acceptance and hope.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
When I has just turned 14 years, I went abroad for the first time alone. I went to Nice in France, and stayed there for 10 days. At the time, I didn't know a word in French, and knew no one in Nice. The experience was wonderful, and I grew so much as a person during the travel. I had to be responsible for myself in a country I had never been in before, where I didn't know the language and when I had limited economic resources. I never regretted the trip, and after that trip I've been to all Norway's 19 counties, to Sweden and England alone.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I believe that I am not the right person to ask if you want someone to describe my skills. I think that the most valuable I can give is good conversations and perspective. I hope you will take the time to know me, and you'll find out what special thing exactly I may teach you.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I can offer you good conversations, many laughs, vegetarian recipes, fun stories, book tips, Norwegian music, debate techniques, long hugs and a life long friendship!
