About Me

My name is Sonia and I'm from Valencia but I decided to move and be independent. I studied tourism and I work as a local tour guide full time during summer but during winter I share my main job with other casual ones. I share the flat with other 2 girls but one of them is Italian and she's going back to Italy this month due to the end of her erasmus. The other girl is from Castellón (near Vlc) and we're like sisters so the environment in the house is really good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to my job I meet lots of people who are couchsurfing and I think this is a great opportunity to meet new people, get to know cultures and kind of continue doing my job but just for the pleasure of showing my city around. Of course my flatmates think the same and that's why we decided to do this.

But I am sorry to say that MARCH is an IMPOSSIBLE month for me to host people cause I will be working hard and it's FALLAS (Our local festival) so a lot of friends are visiting us and the house will be packed.

Interests

I love traveling which I try to do as much as I can everymonth, and I am always staying at my friends place most of the time cause I love getting to know the cities with locals too.
I like studying languages, even though I don't have so much time.
I love cooking too and that's why one of the most important parts of the house is the kitchen.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not a big reader but I like Agatha Christie and that type of crime novels, and traveling and cooking magazines (obvious).
About music let's say, comercial and new electro latin for the clubs (that's almost all you can hear in spain), and then to listen at home pop, rock, R&B, hip hop, but up to different kind of styles too.
Movies, that is hard, I love watching movies so there is no favourite, depending on the moment I feel like watching one or another.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well It is more an amazing experience that kind of changed my life. I had a job, working few hours a week at the cinema and I couldn't find anything related to my studies. So I had the chance and I quitted my job, took all the money I had (not a lot), pack my stuff in my car and left to Ibiza to find a better "life" in that time. I found a job, a place where to stay, meet awesome people, learnt a lot about myself, had an amazing time and experience that I will never forget. After that everything has been great in my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my way of living my city, and all the experiences I had and If they like cooking and spanish, teach all I can. And the most confortable sofa we have :)

Countries I’ve Visited
