I grew up in Zoetermeer but have been living in Amsterdam for the last 3.5 years for studying. I've finished my bachelor in health sciences and now having a gap year to go travelling by myself for the first time! After my trip I'll be living in Amsterdam again and do my masters in Health policy.
Besides the studying, I play volleybal at a student volleybal club which also organizes nice parties and tournaments (of which also a real nice international tournament). To earn some money I work in a grand cafe in the city centre of Amsterdam at waterlooplein, which can be really busy sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From January I'm going to travel starting in New Zealand then traveling to Australia and finishing in South-east Asia. Here I'm planning to visit Indonesia, Cambodja and Thailand. In total I will be traveling for 5 months. I'm very excited about it and would really love to meet locals who can maybe show me around! And probably will be hosting myself in Amsterdam when I'll be back!
