Hi all!!!

I'm Maiju from Nokia, it's small town in Western Finland and close to bigger city Tampere (takes 15 min with car), from here is good train/buss connections to travel every places in Finland.

My family includes me, my husband Henri and our kids (3 year & 5 year old) we also have couple cats.

We are very open minded and love to hear other cultures and people's. Both of us like games, movies and spending time with friends old and new ones. If you want to try sauna it's possible here too, our sauna is heating every weekend. Our children keep us busy but they are absolutely adorable kids, and I'd like to teach them to know different cultures and other ways to do things already when they are small.

We are really hospitable and I will be happy to show places for you, if and when it fits our daily family life. But it's also good if you are ready to go exploring by yourself of course we will help as much as we can.

Of course to meet wonderful peoples, We also like to spice our casual life with someone from the other culture :)

Interests

My working time is 7-16 and Henri is working in two shifts at the factory. So usually taking guest is possible only weekends.

When I'm not at work I spend my free time by playing with kids and meeting friends.

I'm a crafter so, usually have some project going on.
There are so many things I like and dislike that it would take a year if I told them here :D

As I mentioned earlier we have couple cats, so if you are allergic to animals you should think before you are staying here or at least take your allergy medicine with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

We just love watching movies with friends. Genre is usually comedy or adventure but I like other genres too.
I like all kind music except death metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

10 years ago I spent month in Tokyo in a small guesthouse. It was trip that I never forget, so much new peoples and cultures!
2 year after that I went back only this time to Kioto and it was as wonderful as the first time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Good experiences, Finnish cuisine, sauna, can teach moshroom hunting at the autumn and berry picking at summer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have 2 extra bed for two and also couch for two. You can use freely wifi and shower :)
