We are in our mid fifties. We grow organic food, have a regular meditation and yoga practice, enjoy hiking, breaking bread with friends and engaging in deeper conversations about life. We try to live an environmentally caring, socially just and fulfilling life. We live simply and minimally.

Over the years we both have facilitated workshops and symposiums that support others' life journeys. We have worn the hat of parent, teacher, student, caregiver, fundraiser, community leader, artist, activist, friend.

While we do not travel much these days and have been trying to minimize our carbon footprint, between the two of us in past years we have visited England, France, Italy, Croatia, Japan, Peru, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Canada, several islands and many locations throughout the US.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are new to couchsurfing!

When traveling, we like to meet new people and engage on a deeper level with those who are local to the areas we visit.

We also want to avoid supporting large corporate hotels when possible.

Interests

In addition to the above, reading, writing, dancing, hosting community gatherings, spending time with family, meeting new people. Vegetarian, gluten and dairy free cooking. We are part of a regular integral life practice group and are exploring various intentional communities with the plan of co-creating community with others who wish to "bring forth the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible."
