About Me
AUSSIE GIRL GONE FRENCH!
In an effort to discover the rest of the world I have made the long trip (30 hours) from Australia to France. Although I am studying at a university in Lyon, my aim is to spend as much of my free time as possible in different places in Europe. There is so much to see and do in this beautiful part of the world, and no matter how much time I spend travelling there is always going to be more people to meet and more things to do!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love throwing myself into unfamiliar situations and meeting new people is one of the ways I get my fix, so couch surfing is a perfect method of travelling! What I love also is getting an impression of how local people see their town and country and trying to see it through their eyes.
I also love to teach people about my country, especially the outback of the australia (the desert) as it is very unknown to many travellers but offers some unreal scenery and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to the Great Australian Outback for a while where I lived in a completely isolated location hours away from the closest shop. I was a 'cowgirl' mustering sheep and cows for the year, lived out of a swag for days, and learnt what it is like to live off the land. A very scary but rewarding experience.
