Overview
About Me
I am an absolutely normal dude who is trying to figure it out what he can expect from the universe and what the universe can provide him.
I love chatting (without having someone constantly checking his/her phone), discussing (a civilized discussion is always a way of learning and sharing at the same time), reading, and, most of all, I am interested in people who have interests and/or a different perspective about things. I love learning something with everyone and for me it is not not be sad when I don't know something, on the contrary. For instance, every time I go to a library I feel more and more humble because it is a way for me to realize how few I know about literally everything.
Having more doubts than answers and question everything is a motto for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I am the surfer: For me it doesn't make much sense anymore to go to a city and visit it taking into account the "top things to do" or following the traditional routes. I'd rather skip some very touristic spots but have an experience with someone who knows that place very well. What I take from a trip is not the places but the people I've met during it.
When I am the host: Not only but also because I would like to give back everything that many hosts have shared with me. And since I have an empty room and given the fact there are so many interesting people on this platform... Why not?
Interests
I try to read and to learn about many things, but I am mostly interested in politics, religion, philosophy, international relations, cultures, football.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jazz, Chillout, Blues, Bossa Nova and World music.
Movies: Fortunately, I've already had the chance to watch hundreds of movies. From Hollywood blockbusters to very indie movies from very far away countries, because I love to get in touch with different realities and different ways to portray those same realities. I would say that my favorite movies are "Casablanca", "The Hunt", "Schindler's List", "I Origins", and "Scarface".
Books: I love reading. I'd say that my favourite books are "Justice" (Michael Sandel) and "Os Maias" (Eça de Queiroz).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
St. James Way (Camino de Santiago) twice.
European Volunteer Service (EVS) in Gaziantep (Turkey) between May and June 2016. And between 2017 and 2018 I've spent around one year in Ankara doing another EVS at a think-tank.
Workaway in Spain (Granada and Málaga) and in Morocco (Fez and Casablanca).
