When travelling I prefer to stay with people who actually live there - best way to discover a place, a culture, and hidden gems!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

It is very difficult to pick favourites but here is a range:
Music: wide range going from Pink Floyd to the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, via Berurier Noir, Antonin Dvorak, AC/DC and Suseela Raman.

Literature: the list is long but includes Albert Camus, Barbara Kingsolver, Andre Makine, Albert Londres and Tolstoi. My favourite books are 'Les Justes' by Albert Camus and 'La Soupe aux Herbes Sauvages' by Emilie Carles.

Movies: I have a soft spot for 'The Princess Bride' (and its soundtrack!). It just makes me laugh every time!
