Hi everybody! My name is Kuba and work and live in Tokyo. I originally come from the Czech Republic, but because I majored in Japanese, I decided to move to Japan, where I work for the Czech Centre Tokyo - spreading Czech culture.

I think I'm an easygoing and talkative guy, so I'm not going to spoil any fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan to travel during my holidays, but I don't want to stay only in hotels and ryokans. I would like to meet new people, speak in Japanese and get to know a typical Japanese life and culture.

普通のホテルで経験できないことを経験したくて、普段出会えない人に出会いたくて始めました。

Interests

Reading books, watching movies and I'm also trying to maintain my body - doing sports (jogging, gym, spartan race). I'm into many things, so I enjoy history, visiting museums, galleries and so on too. Lastly, I love nature and long walks in the forests, mountains or deserted islands.

Music, Movies, and Books

In music, I like jazz and indie. My favourite composer is Kanno Yoko and musicians I like are Tame Impala, Woodkid, Foster the People, Sekai no Owari, Loma, Suneohair, Portugal. The man and so on.
My favourite movies are Drive, Pulp fiction, Dead poet's society, Watchmen. I also love Studio Ghibli movies, and Japanese anime - Cowboy Bebop, Shingeki no kyojin, One Punch Man, Mob 100

色々な音楽が好きだけど、特にインディーズやジャズやシティーポップが好きです。好きなバンドはTame Impala, Woodkis, Foster the People, スネオヘアー等

映画だと、Drive, Watchmen, Pulp Fictionを例として挙げてるけど、実際好きな作品が山ほどあります！アニメでCowboy Bebopが自分の中で神レベルの作品だと思っています。進撃の巨人、ワンパンマン、ジョジョも見てます。
