As you can see above my name is Veronika and I am from Czech republic, currently living in city of Hradec Králové but coming from small village in region of Pardubice.
I am studying social work for four years. I want to help people with their problems, not only social ones, even with psychological problems. For that reason I am working as a volunteer with people suffering from schizophrenia.
Besides studying I work in part-time job in pancake house.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have always wanted to visit as many places as possible. My biggest dream is volunteering in India and Nepal.. but it´s question of the future.
Traveling is not only adventure and experience, it´s also about money, and money are always problem... at least for me as a student... and Couchsurfing can help and offers such as fun as experiences.

兴趣

I am interested in many things but "now" I find difficult to describe it...
I like ordinary thing like reading books, going outside, walking my dog, visiting theatre and concerts (which i just love!) or taking photos and writing poems (that i do only rarely these days).

Music:
Placebo, Radiohead, The Doors, The Cure, Beatles, Nirvana.
It depends on my mood, I also like genre of emotional hardcore and bands like Sed non satiata or The Saddest Landscape. I hardly listen to modern music. These days "I am discovering" 60´s music.

Books:
I am huge fan of Haruki Murakami and absolutely loving the book Kafka on the Shore.
Also one book really influenced my life, it´s The Way of Peaceful Warrior written by Dan Millman.

Movies:
The most favorite one is Mr. Nobody. Mainly I like to watch psychological dramas and sci-fy films.
