Grew up in the prairies, left for the big city. Classic story. Now I'm looking to travel as much as possible. I've been playing music in a band for a couple years now, its going well, but you can't have just one thing in life... right? I'd like to live somewhere real real warm, with big thunderstorms that keep me up at night. Meeting new people is always exciting. Plus I do alright in the kitchen.

This Couchsurfing thing is a great idea for anybody who's willing to get involved with it. Great way to meet people and especially get to know new cities skipping all the tourist traps.

Intereses

I grew up skiing in the rockies, so thats a big one. Science also goes into the things I'm interested in and oddly enough there's a growin' collection of hats in my closet, Its more of an accidental thing though... Going out walking be it in nature (all those plants and animals too look at) or cities (All those animals to look at!) is always something I enjoy doing. Playing music, sitting in the sun and spending time in bed.

Oh man. books. where to start... The man who mistook his wife for a Hat is pretty high up on my list; so is A farewell to arms. I'm a sucker for all things classic.

I very much enjoy all types of music, though these days I've been gravitating towards Jazz (Sun Ra, Monk, Simone) and Hip hop (Q-tip, Jay-Z, Mos Def, Beastie Boys)
